Cutting Board Care That Will Last A Lifetime:
DO wash your cutting board by hand.
DO use dish soap and warm water.
DO towel dry immediately after washing.
DO air dry your board standing up after towel drying.
DO apply food-grade mineral oil once a month or when the board appears dry.
DO NOT Place cutting board in a dishwasher or submerge it in water
DO NOT lay a damp board flat on the counter to dry.
DO NOT Use bleach (you can use lemon juice or white vinegar)
Recommended 3rd-Party Board Oil Products:
- Food-grade mineral oil (Boos Mystery Oil, Howard’s Butcher Block Oil)
- Beeswax based creams (Boos Board Cream, Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner)
