Dog Maine Potato Print 3"x5"

Maine is one of the largest potato producing states. I take pride in creating art with these spuds.

First, I cut a raised design onto half of a large potato so it basically acts like a stamp.

Then, I firmly press the design onto a thin layer of black acrylic paint and then stamp it onto fabric or paper.

The moisture from the potato produces a unique texture. 

Pictures are framed in old repurposed frames.
